Founded in 1999, Beijing WaycomTechnology Co., Ltd. aims to develop and provide system solutions  in the fields of on-board electronic information system of rail transit vehicles. It is one of the earliest domestic enterprises to localize high-speed rail electrical equipment, and has successfully completed the localization task of CRH2 EMU passenger information system and distance detection device. 

The application of its EMU products have covered nearly 1600 standard trains and about 13000 vehicles in six main engine factories of CRRC. In the field of urban rail transit, the passenger information system independently developed by Waycom has been applied on 5,000 trains in Beijing, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Shenyang, Qingdao, Chengdu and Chongqing.
